I have to admit that I am a total Buffy fanatic– have been since the show first aired many years ago. I have the complete box set and yearn for the new calendar. I love the characters… and I think that Joss Whedon created a world that we can all relate to, monsters and all.

How does this relate to being a Burn Survivor— well– even fictional characters have really really bad days 
I figure if I could escape reality — then the best way would be through a t.v. show about a vampire slayer, her friends antics and the worlds destruction… little did I realize that I would see so much of myself in different aspects of these characters…
wanting to be normal… like Buffy
hiding behind humor… like Zander
my love of books… Giles
being caddy at inappropriate moments… Cordelia
being able to craft some wicked spells… Willow
separated from true love… Angel
set apart from society— All
That’s what I love about this show– the characters show us that everyone’s issues are relative… even if we are saving the world… a lot 
Have to throw one more clip of music into this… because they have a musical episode… several seasons later… but this is just the best.. I mean monsters… sing along… and cool clothes… add a lil soft shoe and I was in love!! You will just have to check out the full episode to see it all
